Does this answer your question??Can I post Images? Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc. To display the image use either the BBCode [img] tag or appropriate HTML (if allowed).

Let's take a pic from the site http://windsorsafaripark.org.uk/wphpbb2 ... anm002.jpg
all that http stuff shown above is known as an URL
URLs are addresses that lead to servers holding images on giant hard drives
To get an image held in such a place displayed in a post, first find it's address second write [ i m g ] then the address directly after, then [ / i m g ] to finish so you have a sandwich
an [ i m g ] immediately followed by the address then the closing [ / i m g ] to make it work
Code: Select all

Just send me a blank PM, I will know that you are practicing

BTW the [ i m g ] shown above in reality IS MINUS THE SPACES, I had to put them in, to avoid confusing the message board or it would have thought I was trying to post an image there

To summarise The image you're trying to post MUST be held on a server somewhere, you can't just post pics that you have downloaded to your computer from a camera, that I'm afraid is not sufficient AT THIS MOMENT in time, hehe it may come in the future though
