Hi all,

Very sad news indeed about John Sadler..

"John Sadler died in Malton Hospital on 30/7/2010 after a short savage illness.
He was the UK's first dolphin trainer, getting started at Flamingo Park in the mid 60's, before moving to Windsor, where he designed and had built the dolphinarium."

I got to know him when I worked at WSP in the late 60s. He was easy to talk to and a very talented man and , I believe, we became friends.

We talked a lot about training animals of all types and bounced ideas off each other on a regular basis.
He will be missed but I, for one, am proud to have known him. RIP John, rest easy old mate.

Hi Falkor,

Sorry for the delay in reply but I had to return to the hospital yet again.

The man in the photo looks like John and if it works there should be an attached photograph for you.
