Probably operator error! :?

Hmmm

 Hmmm...well I downloaded two of the files from the above mentioned site and played both using Windows Media Player.
Interesting albeit brief conversation in Check Out Falkor 97, and just music again brief in Feeding The Giraffes (no video picture at all). An error code appeared when downloading both files when the media player was connecting to the host site to play the files.

 Sorry no 'moving' pictures to report....just sound effects. And erm who chose the music for the giraffe file?
Animals I trust...everyone else has to earn it!

Quads

Post: # 568Post Paul Scott

Tried the quads file. Took over 5 minuted to load (nut i'm only on dial up until next week). When it did load (on AOL player) it had a black screen with DID NOT UBDERSTAND....(something) on it. I got a voice of a bloke (you Falks?) saying come on then and some parrot sqwalks and then nothing from 15 seconds.
Many thanks,Paul.

Hi all,

I had broadband installed last week and I finally managed to download the giraffe video. Oddly I had to save it to my computer first, but it plays fine.
By the way Falks, was it you with the dodgy camerawork inside the car???
Many thanks,Paul.

if you think THAT's dodgy Paul you want to see the BABOONS one!! :P that is the worst video of the lot but - so far - it's all we've got - unless somebody else comes forward with the PRO video that was done in the early 90s

I know for sure that ppl on this site have possession of that video - it needs converting to MPEG as soon as

glad to hear you managed to view it Paul, so one minute it's a black screen with DID NOT UBDERSTAND....(something) on it THEN you can view? what changed?

ALL VIDEOS ARE LISTED AT http://www.fa1kor.co.uk/

Codecs

Type in video codec in the search box on http://www.download.com and choose windows as the platfoem. Then scroll down and look for the freeware ones and you should find a codec pack. Simply click on it to download.
If anyone has problems with it I will see if I can email it to you.
Many thanks,Paul.

8) Well for the first time I've actually been able to view the falkor 97 file instead of just listening to it, and was able to watch the Giraffe video no 6 I think it was with "Oh Happy day" playing in the background.
Wish I'd known about these codec help installations before Paul, as I've frequently just deleted downloaded videos that I was unable to watch previously..(usually music ones).

Damn, I'll have to go back and try to locate them all and attempt to view them again. :P
