Discussion Groups

There are a number of exotic/zoo animal groups on yahoo, if anyone is interested. For instance there is zoo_visitors, UK_zoos, and zooarchive. To access them just go to http://www.yahoo.co.uk sign up for a free email account and then go to groups and join. Simple as that. There is also a zookeeper g...

Don't know about anyone else, but I tend to read the text as the photo's load in, so the time doesn't really bother me, besides some of the captions are quite witty!

The song that is sticking in my head at the moment, is the new one by The Darkness, which is bloody annoying as I can't stand the singers voice! . I keep catching myself humming it.

One of our new members has kindly sent me a private e-mail with a link to a website who can get it for me, from America believe it or not. It will cost me $9 + $5 shipping by surface mail or $9 airmail, which I figure will be approx. £8 or £12 inclusive.
I will dig out the e-mail and post the site.

If you love Port Lympne and Howlett's then you should adore Chester Zoo. It is 110 acres without the car park. I have literally been there since 9am until 6pm when they threw me out, and have barely seen half of the collection. They have the best leopard facilities that I have ever seen, a spectacul...

Where did you get your copy? I have (nearly) every David Taylor book, but The Animals Came Out Two By Two is proving very elusive

Hi

Hi Gilly,

If you want information on Cuddles, you could do worse than to look at the autobiographical books by David Taylor (see the Media Forum). He goes into detail from his first arrival to his eventual departure, including the attacks he made on staff.
P.S. Welcome to the forums!

Hi Matt,

Could you obtain prices etc? I am sure Falkor would be interested in a second possible venue.

re:Board Styles

I think this is great! It adds depth to the forums, so they aren't so bland :o . A lighter colour might be better though!

Hotels

Does anyone know of any reasonable hotels near to Legoland, or in Windsor itself?
