WSP Souvenir Book circa 1970

I'm looking to sell this souvenir book in order to help raise a few bucks for a new camera. I'm not asking for much, just $3.00 USD. I tried on eBay with no luck, so I thought I would check here to see if anyone wants to buy it. This souvenir book is one of the first publications that Windsor Safari...

We were there when "bubbles" (the only name I know) the Orca was caught and released into the winter pen. I have memories of sitting astride Bubbles when the pool was emptied for his physical exams. Could "Bubbles" also be known as Cuddles? If this is the same orca who was caught in October 1968 th...

From looking at the park map of Legoland on their official site and one of WSP in a booklet, the rhinos and giraffes would have been where the Jungle Coaster and Dino Safari are located today. I think that's right.

Do you happen to remember what the photo looked like with your dad and Winnie? I might have it. If so, I can send you a large scan of it.

WSP Souvenir Book circa 1992

I tried to sell this on ebay with no luck. Would anyone like to buy it?

Image

I think it was printed in 1992 after Winnie was moved. I guess whoever posts first that they would like it will get it.

The water was kept between 65 and 70 degrees Farenheit (15 to 17 Celsius).

As for where they are from, they were caught off the coasts of Florida and Mexico, so likely in the Gulf.

And for getting along with the orcas, I'm sure they did fine with Ramu and Winnie.

Slight mistake on Tez's page...

I just want to point out that the link to Ramu's photos is actually not the Ramu he knew. Upon his arrival to Sea World in California, he was renamed Winston (maybe to sound British?) because SW already had an orca named Ramu (the one on the link). http://www.orcahome.de/winston.htm For another note...
